Torture Tuesday - Marching Band


With school starting back, we decided to send Kato to a restaurant to get breakfast and practice with his marching band cymbals!

Torture Tuesday - Whiffle Ball Bat Trivia


 We tested Kato's trivia knowledge with the threat of blows to the head with a whiffle ball bat if he got any questions wrong, and of course - he did!

Intern Brett was in an accident and his car took a beating..


Over the weekend, Intern Brett was hit head-on by a drunk driver.   Everyone walked away with minor injuries, except for his car.   Take a look at the damage below.

Torture Tuesday - Catfood Sandwich Roulette


Hawk's kid has been eating catfood so we decided to see what it tastes like.  We made three sandwiches out of potted meat, and one sandwich out of catfood.  Then we drew numbers to see who would get the catfood sandwich.  Intern Brett - still suffering from the complications of his car accident - decided to play a trick on us and it got a little out of hand.  Check it out for yourself...

Torture Tuesday - World Cup Vuvuzela Horns


 Ok, so the US didn't win the World Cup (we were robbed by horrible officiating!) but we did learn about the ridiculous and obnoxious Vuvuzela Horns that the South Africans played in the stands all the way through each game.  We decided to try the Vuvuzela Horns out here in the good old USA - at a Cracker Barrel restaurant.  We sent Kato, along with Intern Brett, Intern James and Intern Austin out with Vuvuzela horns and decided to see what it would sound like to play the Vuvuzela horns at breakfast...

Torture Tuesday - 4th of July 2010


Special thanks to Charlie's Fireworks Superstore in Travelers Rest, South Carolina for supplying us with some outrageous Roman Candles for this torture Tuesday.  We dressed Kato up in a fireman's suit and turned him into a moving target as we attacked him with a massive barrage of fireworks.  The video is crazy.  If you want fireworks like this, check out

 We had such a success with rapping at the drive-through, we decided to try it INSIDE a Waffle House!

Torture Tuesday - Fast Food Rap!


 
It is all over YouTube™ and we decided to try it ourselves.  Heidi and Kato went to a couple of fast food restaurants here in the Upstate and rap their order at the drivethrough.  The folks at Hardees thought it was pretty cool!  CLICK HERE to see the lyrics that Kato wrote the night before.

Torture Tuesday - Rocky Mountain Oysters



If you've never heard of a "Rocky Mountain Oyster" then you might think this is about seafood.  But it's not - Rocky Mountain Oysters are considered a delicacy by rednecks and hillbillies and we decided to try them for ourselves.  They actually come from a BULL.  We decided to batter a pair up and fry them for Torture Tuesday and the results were not great!

We created a brand new fashion, and we hope it doesn't catch on!  We sent Kato out shopping at different stores with holes cut out of his shirt around his nipples and watched people try to pretend it wasn't weird!

Torture Tuesday - Salsa Gargling



We all had to gargle HOT salsa for Torture Tuesday this week in honor of Cinco Di Mayo coming up on Wednesday.  It seems that most of us have a pretty bad gag reflex.  Tom on the other hand, just saw it as another opportunity to eat food and seemed to enjoy it...

Torture Tuesday - Smooth as a Baby's Butt!
Tom was selected to test out the Nair Hair Removal product on the show today and he had to nuke all the hair from his hind end - live on the air.  Believe it or not, this video is tastefully done.  Well, it doesn't show any nudity anyway!

Torture Tuesday - Toilet Cleaner


Kato has an irrational fear of public restrooms.  If he has to go #2 then he leaves the radio station and goes home to his house, then comes back to work.  So we made him confront his fears for this Torture Tuesday.  We sent him to a truck stop and had him clean the toilets.  He dressed in a Hazardous Materials suit and marched in to announce he was there to clean the bathrooms and we have video of the whole thing!

Torture Tuesday - Tom & Heidi Play TWISTER!


Tom had to play Twister™ with his mother-in-law over the holiday weekend, so we made him play Twister™ with another mother-in-law for Torture Tuesday.  He had to play with Heidi Aiken and we're not sure who suffered worse... Other sites might show you videos of young girls playing twister together in bikinis, but not us - we just give you this!
